1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Lead the Quality department to meet quality goals. Manage quality system functions, coordinate resources to address the top quality and recovery issues. Maintain customer required quality system certifications.
KNOWHOW required (Education / years of experience; technical degrees/training; degree of proficiency; managerial experience; HR skills) BS degree in Engineering or equal experience on the job; training in problem solving methods and ISO 9001
PROBLEM SOLVING (Unique? Continual? Minimal? Complex? With/without precedent? Independent/collaborative?) Must be able to work in groups and see a project to completion. Must have strong problem solving and organizational skills.
FREEDOM TO ACT (Solely responsible or shares responsibility for actions? Can implement on own or must seek approval?) Must be a strong decision maker. Solely responsible for the majority of decisions made. Must be able to make quick decisions.
