Collateral PreScreen Analyst / Reviewer II
Location: Bloomington, Mn
Pay Rate Range: $14.80-16.35/hr.
*** This is a higher level position that requires familiarity with Mortgage industry terminology, someone with strong analytical skills, and is comfortable making decisions *** Perform administrative prescreen reviews on various appraisal products while ensuring consistent report compliance with respect to common appraisal quality issues. The Analyst will validate compliance with common appraisal quality items that are unique to the product type or other transaction attributes of the specific order. Responsible for daily production goals and standards to meet and exceed client expectations for the administrative pre-delivery appraisal review process. Assist the Team Lead and/or AOM when volumes increase or absences occur. Ensure adherence to the TAT (turn-a-round) and quality requirements as established for all appraisal products reviewed. Provides potential coaching and training of new staff.
Perform quality prescreen reviews on various appraisal products and properly document review findings to ensure compliance. Responsible for completing daily production and standards that will be supervised by the Team Lead and Assistant Operations Manager. Responsible for completing daily workflow, predominantly using ProCollateral. Effectively communicate with appraisers and internal reviewers through various means of communication. Work with all Operational entities to promote positive team attitude and environment. Assist other teams from the departments as directed by the Assistant Operations Manager or Team Lead. Effectively communicate with appraisers, both verbally and written, regarding required revisions, requests, and/or issue resolution. Ability to identify escalated files and follows the proper escalation process. Train newly-hired permanent and temporary employees. Continue to look for ways to improve current process with enhancements and ideas. Cross-train on other duties when directed by the Assistant Operations Manager or Team Lead.
Education or Experience required for position:
High School Diploma or GED Registered Real Property Appraisers License (Trainee level) or USPAP certified is PREFERRED.
Previous mortgage processing, post-closing, secondary marketing or appraisal experience. Proficient computer skills in Window-based software products such as MS Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills. Proven customer service. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team. Effective time management and organizational skills. Excellent oral, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Professional demeanor. Self-motivated and proactive issue resolution skills. PC skills include MS Office Suite of products. Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
