Our Collections team is seeking professionals with collections experience, or those who have demonstrated excellent customer service while working in a call center or phone sales environment.
Our Collectors interact with members of the credit union ONLY. There are no Third Party collections . The skill sets we are looking for are the ability to listen for need, to negotiate a workable solution and to close the deal and get a payment. The main focus of the job is to make telephone contact with credit union members, communicate a sense of urgency, and negotiate arrangements to bring loans current.
The successful candidate will be well organized, enjoy communicating with individuals over the phone, have prior experience as a Collector, Customer Service Representative, or Phone Sales.

Schedule: Standard 8am - 5pm; however, will work 2 late nights (11am-8pm) no Saturdays
- 1 to 3 years experience working in a call center/collections environment.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to negotiate and overcome objections
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 2003, 2007
Education: High School or equivalent.
Compensation Package: We offer a competitive base hourly pay, plus an opportunity to earn variable pay based on meeting individual performance goals.
