Responsible for performing entry level, professional responsibilities specific to the needs of the Organizational Development Department.
Essential Job Functions
To provide project support, particularly in the areas of producing project communications documents, issues management, customer service, and some clerical support.
Must be able to write Executive level memos, write website content, produce presentations, log and track progress of issues, understand basic concepts of project schedules and issues management.
May respond to phone and email queries on behalf of the Director.
Will attend meetings for the purpose of keeping minutes of meetings.
Will schedule meetings and keep project notebooks up-to-date.
May follow up with others to obtain updates on the status of their assignments.
Ability to understand MS Project Gantt charts and to update our project management software (with training) to keep issues and project schedules up to date.
Preferred Knowledge - Abilities & Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 1 year education or experience in related area of study
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of business organizations
- Technical and communications skills, both oral and written
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to take on challenges and learn at a quick pace

Physical Tasks & Working Conditions
The incumbent works in a typical office environment; relatively free from any environmental hazards or conditions. Depending on the location of the internship, may be exposed to some unpleasant environmental conditions.
Minimum Education & Work Experience
Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university
Must at least be in third year of college
No experience required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
