College Student Practicum-Manufacturing
This position is responsible for working with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams to develop and manage the assembly procedures.
In addition, the position will be involved with managing supplier quality including issuing Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s) and working with the suppliers to resolve them.
The candidate will also be responsible for implementing a database to capture the product knowledge that is currently in the group so the next generation of workers will have access to this knowledge.
The candidate should have completed the first year of a 4 year Manufacturing Engineering degree program.
The candidate must have good mechanical skills.
In addition, the candidate will interface with internal and external suppliers.
Therefore, good communication skills are a necessity.
There are multiple activities required in this position and the candidate must be able to manage then concurrently.
