The Office of Alumni/ae Affairs is seeking a part-time assistant to provide administrative support in the planning and execution of Commencement and reunions, as well as general office and data entry support. The assistant will work on various office projects as needed; answer phone and email inquiries from parents, students, alumni/ae, and friends about Commencement , Alumni/ae Weekend and other events; take, process, and enter registrations, ; prepare reports; coordinate on-campus housing for alumni/ae during Commencement and Alumni/ae Weekend; and assist in all aspects of data entry.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to follow direction, and capacity for long hours are necessary. Experience in Banner database, Excel, and Word desired. A sense of humor; attention to detail; ability to work with individuals across the extended Bard community is a must. The position requires some part time work all year through June, with longer hours from February through May. Availability for weekend work in May essential.
