The Credit Data Specialist (CDS) is the owner of credit related data in all of the systems that Middle Market Credit utilizes including Approvals Recording and Control ("ARC"), Client Central. The data that the CDS owns drives accurate exposure reporting, capital allocation, and customer profitability reporting among others. The CDS is responsible for accurately setting up customers and their related facilities during client on boarding as well as ongoing maintenance.
Approvals Recording & Control - Related Activities
Initiate credit facility proposals in ARC for new facilities, existing facilities and data maintenance.
Populate facility and obligor data as necessary prior to routing proposals for approval
Attach supporting documents to ARC proposal.
Update proposal as needed prior to release based on changes during negotiation. Finalize dates in proposal.
Perform approval overrides in ARC.
Route proposal for approval.
Complete ARC proposals for release. Store proposal in Dealworks.
Communicate to Treasury Management Officer / Sales Associate that facility is available.
Receive tickler from CLS and confirm with UW scheduled change needs to occur (step up / step down process).
Credit Data Management
Manage credit data in Client Central (CIF linkage, credit family structures, credit transfers, coverage roles).
Execute data remediation projects.
Monitor various data reports for accuracy and correct any errors.
College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years professional experience in loan/product operations or a credit/lending environment.
General experience with related credit systems such as ARC, Client Central, eClips, Exposure Now.
General knowledge of credit products.
General knowledge of financial exposure and ability to understand simple to moderate customer structures.
Good verbal, written and organizational skills.
Detail oriented with ability to multi task and work in a team based environment.
