Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent degree program is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted. Strong emphasis on accounting or finance background.
Possess good judgment skills. Ability to make decisions within prescribed guidelines, research and solve problems, handle confidential information and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills; Strong customer relations skills and ability to work with employees and customers in a cooperative manner.

Ability to drive a vehicle. Must maintain a current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for bank insurance purposes.

Prior sales experience, particularly in a financial services or retail setting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment and assist in line positions as called for.
Analytical (statistical), organizational, time management, and problem-solving ability; Familiarity with local financial marketplace (competitors, demographics, geography, industries, etc.).
This full-time position is located at the Main Bank facility for First Central Bank.
Use credit reporting services to compile reports regarding the credit history of potential customers; Research and analyze financial statements; Interpret findings and prepare reports of financial position and credit worthiness.
Assist with the preparation and presentation to loan committees or customers; Conduct a systematic review of commercial loans to determine adequacy of documentation.Offer opinions regarding financial strength and credit worthiness of customers.
Maintain loan documentation files and monitor compliance with terms of loan agreements.
Review loans that are held for follow-up and recommend appropriate action.
Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues relating to loan policy and procedures evidenced by appropriate application of regulations in day-to-day operations.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, efficiency and customer service when resolving customer issues; Understand and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Bank’s services, operations, and organization; communicate this understanding to others when appropriate, and refer inquiries and correspondence to the proper department or individual.
Develops commercial loan prospects from current customers, referral leads, and other sources. Makes calls with branch manager and also makes referrals to the branch manager from customer prospects; Contacts prospective customers to present information on available commercial loan services.
Determines customers' financial services needs and prepares proposals to sell services. Prepares a credit summary that clearly and succinctly describes the strengths, weaknesses and risks associated with the credit.
Originates, processes, approves and closes commercial loan originations. Understands underwriting concepts and has the ability to analyze business financial statements and cashflows; Responsible for accurate preparation of all forms, agreements, reports and documents required to close the loan and for filing all legal documents after the loan closing.
Attends community events, sales and trade meetings to develop new business prospects.
Contacts and follows up with each commercial loan customer to continue to provide financial and loan services.
Contacts and collects past due commercial loans originated.
Promotes all other bank services and products to customers and prospective customers.
Attend and complete all required training.
Participate in the establishment of lending/leasing goals in compliance with overall Bank growth and profitability objectives; As requested, provide input, where appropriate, in the formulation of goals, policies and programs, for other functional areas.
Keep abreast of pertinent market and regulatory developments and identify current and potential commercial lending markets; develop and implement plans and programs to respond to those developments and target desired commercial loan markets.
