This position will have to be able to balance GE and Customer CTQ's. In combination with the Commercial Finance Leader, this role will partner with the sales team while holding them accountable for the sales / deal / contract metrics and simultaneously balance these with risk management and closing deals. This will require creativity, decisiveness and a strong focus on processes to ensure that the best economic decisions are made.
In addition, you will:
Review all contracts for Commercial and Controllership risks, work with Sales / ITO teams to structure deals to minimize these risk and maximize GE and Customer value
Manage FX, Letters of Credits, Bonds and other financial guarantees to be issued for the contracts
Drive price on new orders; Support competitive analysis and provide insight on trends
Manage & advise price-book and indexation of long lead orders
Structure transaction T&C's to optimize revenue recognition, cash, tax structure & tax compliance
Compliance expert with respect to Know Your Customer, money laundering activities & new agents
Participate in NPI / strategic decisions for the business
Engineering, manufacturing and shipping release based on contract / payment status
EXIM finance review & co-ordination with Capital Markets Corp
Continued focus on strengthening of ITO process to drive accuracy and forecast-ability of sales, margin and cash from new orders forecasts
Manage cash flow for new orders / decision maker on payment terms & payment security
Help manage risk with financial structuring in case of payment issues / customer financing / assignment
Manage financial data for Orders & Sales tracking for the ITO group and external parties
This role reports to the Commercial Finance & Risk Leader and will also provide direct financial leadership on an Aero Energy wide basis Additional commercial initiatives as required by the business
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a focused range of financial roles

Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve aggressive financial targets
Extensive Commercial Contract Experience (national / international)
Trade finance & banking institution experience
Sound knowledge of risk management strategies and their application
Project Finance & Costing experience - experience with capital equipment
Product Sales Finance experience; pricing experience
Excellent analytical and economic modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
Demonstrated Negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Creative and innovative problem solving skills
Self-motivated, high energy with strong ability to deliver results
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Oracle GL Experience
Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification (GE Employees Only)
FMP / EFLP / CAS experience (GE Employees Only)
