DTN/The Progressive Farmer, a part of Schneider Electric, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated District Sales Representative in our Commercial Grains Account Management Team in Illinois. This is an Outside Sales Position, and the incumbent need only live in the territory. This position will represent our Illinois territory, as well of some surrounding states. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new revenue by selling our Agribusiness solutions within the Commercial Grains industries. The chosen candidate will be required to follow up both by phone and in-person on leads and opportunities, self-generated referrals and self-initiated opportunities.

Requirements
Prior Agri-business experience with focus on grain elevators and ethanol business is required.
Strong background in commodity hedging business is desired.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, with field service experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to exceed sales quotas.
Experience in selling value based products.
BA or BS degree in Business Administration with a focus on agribusiness preferred.
Ability to travel up to 20-25% of the time.
