Job Purpose and Scope:

The origination, servicing, and collection of commercial loans.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Origination of commercial loans

  • Servicing of commercial loans

  • Collecting for commercial loans

  • Accurately analyzing financial statements

  • Asset liability determination

  • Business development

  • Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of the other essential job functions

  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work


  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to accurately analyze financial statements and cash flows

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to work without close supervision

  • Complete understanding of all lending regulations including fair lending

  • Business development skills

  • Understanding of the appraisal process and ability to adequately review appraisals

  • Understanding of legal entities and how to properly protect bank’s interest in collateral

  • Position Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years experience as a commercial lender

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
