Develop, implement and execute strategy for the commercial markets in the Pacific Northwest Region.
Meet or exceed yearly sales and profitability plan.
Support distributor, strategic accounts, and direct sales channels.
Maintain an extensive knowledge of markets, products, industry, competition, key buying influences, and partners.
Makes meaningful solution recommendations that are based on identified needs, and then presents the proposal in a persuasive manner.
Negotiate effectively with customers and prospects using principles that expand offerings and add unique values that motivate buyers to do business with the Company.
Organize and prioritize business and activities to make the most efficient use of time and resources.
Ability to influence those outside of ones span of control
Excellent Time and Territory management.
Demonstrated ability to effectively establish strong business relationships with distributors, authorized contractors, and other Tennant partners.
Demonstrated ability to sell effectively to high level buying influences.
Strong knowledge of the market, the business climate within the market, the buying process, its unique qualities, and how to sell to the higher education market.
Strong history of recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities and of making sound business decisions.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of five years experience in sales, business development or marketing.
Demonstrated experience and success selling into one or more of the following markets:
