Responsible for designing and coding essential aesthetically pleasing and engaging websites, emails and e-commerce marketing that adhere to Graybar’s branding standards
Demonstrated experience and competency in HTML, HTML5, XHTML, JQuery, advanced CSS, including the ability to write W3C and validate XHTML mark up for desktop and mobile environments
Proficiency with development tools such as Firebug
Experience with design-related tools, including Adobe CS5/6 Photoshop
Understanding of current web design and accepted standards for web pages, e-newsletters and e-blast
Mobile web development
Coordinate and execute corporate and employee communications projects (internally and externally) and initiatives, from initial concept to project completion
Maintain relationships with various key internal stakeholders and external vendors to complete tasks
Make suggestions on format and delivery methods as well as the execution of new communications tasks
Write, edit and develop content for a variety of print and digital formats ensuring consistent core messaging and brand integrity
Determine best medium for messaging: digital, print, etc.
Coordinate large communication projects from conception to completion ensuring work is on time, on budget and on message

Minimum Job Requirements
3-5 years of previous experience with an agency and/or corporate communications web-design team
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Job Requirements
Special consideration given to those with an understanding of SEO and Google Analytics, experience in video editing (Adobe Premiere or After Affects), familiarity with PHP
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, New Media or another equivalent art form
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Advanced knowledge of content management systems
Familiarity with Google applications (API)
Solid coding knowledge as well as a good eye for visual design with an emphasis on UI and ease of navigation Skills
Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and writing skills
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
Ability to work independently and in teams
Traditional office environment. Some travel required.
