Primary responsibilities include:
- Develops training and educational materials for geriatric programs. Prepares, coordinates, organizes, schedules, and facilitates group learning sessions, classes, workshops, courses, and other meetings as required. Provides educational research functions pertaining to various aspects of geriatric programs including maintaining records and evaluating the success of the classroom and/or learning experience(s) through soliciting feedback/assessment regarding course materials, development tools, delivery method and post-training performance.
- Assists in the writing, editing, and reviewing of various publications, newsletters, and catalogs. Markets grant programs with clients, individually and with institutional organizations.
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or health related field with a minimum of three years of experience working with community agencies and health related institutions.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Master's degree strongly preferred.
