Company Description VNS CHOICE is a comprehensive, managed long-term care program for adults 65 and older who wish to remain in their own homes with long term care services for as long as possible. We are seeking talent for the opportunity described below. Responsibilities Establishes new and maintains existing relationships with key community organizations and leaders, including but not limited to Community Based Organizations (CBOs), FBOs, political leaders, advocacy groups, and the provider community. Educates consumers in the communities served by VNSNY about Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans and the benefits of enrolling in the VNSNY CHOICE Special Needs Plan.

Achieves monthly enrollment requirements and attends and conducts presentations during weekly events. Works under general supervision. Qualifications Licensure: Medicare License required. Valid drivers license and access to a motor vehicle or ability to travel through all five boroughs required.

Education: High School diploma or the equivalent required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum two years of managed Medicare and/or Medicaid sales experience with High School diploma or GED required, or minimum of five years of managed Medicare and/or Medicaid sales experience without High School diploma or GED required. Experience marketing to a culturally diverse target population required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups required. Strong organizational skills required. Existing relationships with key potential referrers required. Bi-lingual skills preferred.
