Do you wake up early just to get your hair perfectly coiffed, even for an uneventful day? Do you enjoy trying out the latest styles? Have you ever lost an hour or two because you were busy pinning new ideas? Maybe you love to blog about hairdos? We ’re looking for someone with the right mix of beauty knowledge, creativity, and social media savvy to serve as a community manager for a hair care brand on behalf of our clients.

• Supports in the development of cross-channel community strategies
• Becomes a brand advocate and expert for assigned client brands
• Administrator for brand social channels
• Develops and optimizes content for brand social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, blogs, YouTube, etc.)
• Attends events on behalf of brands
• Engages online community and proactively responds to brand related conversations to build personal relationships with community members
• Is familiar and comfortable with updating (non-programming related), navigating and utilizing each of the major social channels, including understanding the terms of use and best practices for each

• 3+ years ’ experience in consumer facing marketing, consumer relations, PR or creative writing, in an agency setting
• Experience managing social channels for leading consumer brands a plus
• Extensive knowledge of current and emerging social channels
• Very strong written and verbal communications skills
• An obsessive attention to detail
• Passionate about hair care, styles, and products (Share about this in your cover letter.)
• Excellent presentation skills are a must, with prior client contact in a social capacity a major plus
