Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.
Responsible for managing an assigned territory or specific group of assigned Community Partners to increase and/or maintain membership
Assists with the development of strategic initiatives and evaluates current plans and resources to drive member growth and retention
Develops and executes a marketing plan for the Community Partner, in order to support/ increase membership growth through analysis and interpretation of relevant market data
Modifies strategies and tactics, as needed, to ensure optimal business outcomes
Works on the identification and resolution of issues affecting the Community Partners (facilitates operational issues through the Issue/Resolution process)
Acts as liaison between the Community Partners and the community advocacy groups who impact our target population
Develops patient education open houses at the Community Partnerâ€™s office
Attends networking meetings to deliver key messages
Provide a thorough explanation of health plan attributes, processes, and outcomes to the Community Partners and to community advocacy groups
Develops and builds relationships with Community Partners offices to enhance presence in the Community Partners community
Assists the Community Partners office with issues related to benefits and enrollments affecting our members or potential members
Develops and executes events at the Community Partners office, for targeting existing and potential members in the practice
Manages territory effectively and within budgetary guidelines
Develop a standard process for assessing the feasibility of and the development of sponsored event programs which, support strategic initiatives
Develop programs to achieve increased market recognition of, and to support increased member growth and retention
Attends and participates in required job-related training

High School Diploma /GED
2+ years of People Management experience
2+ years of public speaking experience
Must be familiar with NY Medicaid, Child Health Plus program and low income population
Must have experience with MS Office (Word and Power Point)
Knowledge of Public Health education
Experience with MS Excel
