This is a Periodic 15-20 hours a week position.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license, good driving record and be insurable with reliable transportation. Be able to lift up to a maximum of 55 lbs. in order to assist individual being supported to complete work assignments for their employer and/or assist the individual being supported. Standing or sitting for long periods of time may occur. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required. Maintain case records as required by licensing and funding bodies’ standards and regulations. Will be required to work in multiple work environments as dictated by the employment sites where individuals supported are employed and assist individuals with training and maintaining their employment. Three (3) years of previous experience working with I/DD populations required. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel will be required.
