This position will handle a wide variety of compensation, payroll and benefits responsibilities including survey participation and analysis, ad hoc projects related to compensation, payroll and benefits, and backing up the Payroll and Stock Plan Administrator. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Participate in annual salary surveys to analyze data and make recommendations for compensation programs
Attend off-site compensation and salary survey meetings, as required
Work with line management in developing new hire compensation packages
Prepare compensation spreadsheets and assist in the annual salary, bonus and LTI programs
Work with line management to review and analyze market changes and create recommendations for adjustment as warranted
Coordinate annual Benefits renewal process with our PEO and assess cost effectiveness compared with possible benefits alternatives
Participate in and lead teams to implement HR related software solutions.
Develop, coordinate and communicate process for FMLA and other leaves of absences (e.g., PEO notification, employee notification, etc)
Recommend, organize and coordinate in-house employee training programs associated with areas of responsibility, as necessary
Participate in and/or lead special projects or other HR related assignments as required by the Company’s growth and new HR initiatives (e.g., Total Compensation and/or Benefits Statements, etc.).
Serve as backup for the Payroll and Stock Plan Analyst.
Minimum 2 years exempt level HR experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all HR related information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Oil and gas experience
Compensation and/or Benefits experience
Experience with payroll or stock plan administration
Experience with HRIS systems implementation or upgrade
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Detail oriented with ability to prioritize multiple projects
Strong diplomacy skills and ability to persuasively influence outcomes
