Compensation / HRIS Specialist
The Compensation / HRIS Specialist will utilize an understanding of energy pay practices and a complete understanding of compensation principles to provide internal consulting and assistance in the administration and design of base and incentive compensation programs for over 2,000 employees in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Additional duties include guiding the HR department in the use and enhancement of computer systems and the development of new tools to increase the utilization of HRIS.

Salary - Exempt
Ability to utilize an understanding of energy pay practices and a complete understanding of compensation principles to provide internal consulting and assistance in the administration and design of base and incentive compensation programs for over 2,000 employees in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Ability to deploy and deliver compensation programs, market studies, data analysis, structure development, incentive program administration and review, including employee stock grants.
Ability to guide the use of HRIS to increase the effectiveness of the HR function in supporting the business.
Acts as a team member with all employees of GDF SUEZ North America, Inc.
Complies with all GDF SUEZ North America policies and procedures.
Carries out other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA desired, Compensation designation preferred.
Requires a minimum of five (5) years experience in a full functioning
Experience in Canada/Mexico is a plus.
Proficiency in compensation statistics using Excel is mandatory, knowledge of MS Access desired.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Strong time management and prioritizing skills
Strong interpersonal and team building skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and communicate effectively at all levels of management and peer groups.
Essential Physical Abilities
Strong oral & written communication skills at all levels of the organization..
Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and database applications.
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment to meet firm deadlines.
Could involve some lifting up to 20 lbs.
