: Reports to the Administrative Director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Conducts financial and operational analysis to improve quality of services, productivity, revenue generation, and efficiency at the four geographic outpatient locations. Responsible for management of the revenue cycle process, the daily business operations of the department, the development of business plans and return on investment data for existing and potential new services. Works collaboratively with internal and external compliance and regulatory agencies and coordinates department responses to audit requests. Together with the Medical Staff Office and Patient Financial Services, coordinates the on-boarding of new providers in the department and maintains the accuracy of the payer credentialing database. Establishes and maintains the integrity of the Department Charge Master, coordinating the annual review and audit of the charge master.
Bachelor’s degree in management, business or health care administration preferred. Certified Professional Coding certification (CPC) preferred.
High level of analytical, quantitative, financial management, and problem-solving skills in order to prepare financial proposals, reports, and analysis in support of programs and activities.
High level of organizational and interpersonal skills to interact on matters having multiple and varying impact on department financial objectives, and to respond effectively to competing needs for resources.
Minimum of seven years experience in healthcare with at least two years of progressive experience in management.
Demonstrated skill in program development, business management and analysis.
Management level communication skills; skills in facilitation/consensus building and persuasion.
