A lab assistant in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science is expected to have the equivalent of an undergraduate major in computer science. The lab assistant will serve as a coach assisting the faculty during class sessions by answering questions related to programming. Other duties may include but not limited to grading lab reports in lower level computer sciences courses and assisting instructors with other classroom tasks.
