PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under direction of the Construction Foreman, Laborers accomplish task in a safe and productive manner providing a positive construction experience for our patrons.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Practice proper construction methods with on the job training
Ability to properly use hand and power tools, climb ladders, and measure and square projects without direct supervision in the construction of commercial or farm buildings and/or grain systems.
Able to use necessary equipment to complete projects:
Complete jobs in a timely, safe manner.
- Scissor Lift
- Various power and other operating tools
Perform necessary maintenance on trucks and equipment.
Keep clean and safe job sites.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Attend company and department meetings and training programs.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires a high school degree, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of construction skills.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
