Job Description:
PRO-telligent, LLC, a TetraTech company, was recently
awarded a contract with The Department of State,
Overseas Buildings Operations, Office of Construction
Management (CM). We are seeking cleared Construction
Managers with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
strengths with experience providing engineering services
in support of construction of a new embassy compound.
Individuals in this position will be deployed overseas
to US Embassy locations. Candidates must have a minimum
of 8 - 10 years of engineering experience and experience
working on active construction sites. A Top Secret or
interim Top Secret Clearance is required. Candidates
with a Secret clearance who meet all other job
requirements will be considered for an upgrade to Top
Secret.
The Construction Manager with Mechanical, Electrical,

and Plumbing (MEP):
  • Serves as a Construction Manager. MEP strenths
required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience required on
construction projects in similar scope and value to
the project. Overseas experience preferred; ME
and/or EE degree preferred. Strong mechancial,
electrical, HVAC-BAS, fire alarm and suppression,
photovoltaics is a plus.
  • Construction Manager must be proficient with Projnet
due to e-Submittals, and will assist with reports
and cables.
  • The Construction Manager as Deputy PD must be
prepared to have face time with embassy fronto
office.
  • Develops working knowledge of all technical
requirements of projects
  • Provides Quality Assurance for ongoing construction
projects
  • Reviews contractor submittals from construction
management perspective.
  • Prepares responses to RFI questions related to
construction management
  • Evaluates proposed submittal substitutions with
construction management implications
  • Coordinates development of Independent Government
Estimates for modifications and change orders
  • Reviews and evaluated design calculations and data
from construction management perspective
  • Prepares monthly progress report summarizing project
status, with emphasis on construction management
Additional international locations will be added in

This position requires the following:
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Top Secret or interim Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Able to deploy within 30 days of notification of
client acceptance of resume
  • Oversees experience preferred
  • Professional Registration preferred
