Install and replace gas mains and services
Maintenance and repair of gas mains and services
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
Ability to interpret construction drawings to locate underground facilities.
Knowledge with using CGI and leak detection equipment
Utilize GIS technology and basic PC applications
Ability to create and maintain accurate asbuilts, records, timesheets and all other paperwork
Ability to safely manage gas emergencies and other hazardous situations
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred, if not must obtain within the first 6 months of employment at employee's expense
Ability to obtain and maintain D.O.T. Office of Pipeline Safety operator qualification as it pertains to gas Construction and Maintenance work.
Obtain Heavy Equipment Operators Certification
Obtain API 1104 or Appendix C welding Certification
Obtain Polyethylene Fusion Certification
Construction Worker-0 to 1 years Gas Service
Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred, if not must have the ability to obtain a CDL within the first 6 months of employment at employeeÂ¿s expense.
Knowledge of gas distribution system.
Working knowledge of the AM/FM / GIS graphical program.
Working knowledge of the DIS program.
Knowledgeable in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Knowledge of Entergy's Customer Service policies
Familiar with service territory area.
