Job Description:
This position is responsible for building brand loyalty, delivering service excellence and supporting marketing and brand initiatives through contacts with consumers, sales representatives, healthcare providers, etc. Contacts are received via phone calls, emails, chat, mail and social media. Consumer Specialists are experts in Mead Johnson’s product knowledge, marketing and sales promotions and company programs. They are customer service professionals representing the Enfamil brand to the entire U.S. market.

  • Successfully maximize opportunities to create brand loyalty and build relationships with customers
  • Sell and cross-sell directly to consumers
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills to serve internal and external customers via inbound and outbound contacts
  • Routinely execute various relationship marketing strategies and tactics, including surveys
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge
  • Maximize personal productivity, efficiency, accuracy and quality to achieve performance goals
  • Effectively prioritize and execute demanding workload
  • Proactively identify problems and work with leadership team to develop and implement solutions to improve service for our customers
  • Consistently follow through on commitments to customers (internal and external), while achieving individual and team objectives
  • Quickly learn and apply various computer software solutions and systems
  • Actively participate on different teams within the department

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred
  • Two plus years of customer experience required
  • Previous contact center experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates positive attitude and passion for customer service
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving skills; i.e. analyze, interpret and resolve problems
  • Demonstrates ability to think and work independently requiring minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Demonstrates great organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in standard software applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Communicator required
  • Experience in consumer chat, social media and email preferred
  • Experience in multi-tasking; i.e. talking on the phone and working on the computer simultaneously
  • Demonstrates ability to adjust quickly to changes in a dynamic contact center environment
  • Contact center operates Mon-Fri 7a-7p and Saturday 8-4:30p CT. Late schedule and Saturday rotation is expected
