The candidate shall have experience and demonstrated competency performing duties with general supervision. The candidate shall have experience in gathering and evaluating customer GEOINT information needs and an ability to support studies, plans, assessments and content management initiatives and operations. The candidate may serve as a focal point to coordinate and integrate content curation-related activities ensuring schedules and outcomes are achieved. In this position, the candidate must be able to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare briefing, read-ahead and other materials and have a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to independently develop material using these applications.
Additional Required Skills:
Strong expertise in NGA's GEOINT tradecraft (imagery and geospatial) and content (data, products, reporting) as well as GEOINT dissemination
Expertise in regions, countries or intelligence issues (for example, counterterrorism, counterproliferation, etc).
Working knowledge of NGA organization, mission and Vision initiatives
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD) and NGA customers
Knowledge of content management and visualization of online content
Familiarity with NIPF and JSCP topics/priorities
Experience working across NGA Key Components and IC/DoD
Strong oral and written communications skills, to include experience in briefing senior or executive-level officials and editing
Critical thinking and judgment
Understanding of industry trends in information presentation, web technologies and content management along with change management and strategic communications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include MS Project
Ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels within multiple agencies.
Ability to work with senior management up to the director level
Ability to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of project management, strategic planning, organizational skills, resource management,
Knowledge of metadata management and data discovery, to include OGC and other standards promoting interoperability and criteria that must be followed in preparing content to ensure it is discoverable, retrievable and accessible.
Experience in content management and knowledge management initiatives
Understanding of requirements relating to web content/web presence activities
Experience supporting IC senior consumers/policymakers
Experience in a customer service roll
