Contract Compliance Technicians need strong comprehension skills and are able to work through the details of assigned contracts to include compliance and performance requirements. You will build strong professional partnerships with your clients, and will work in the field monitoring multiple contracts while providing oversight on maintenance contractors that have over 400 employees. You will ensure that managers and supervisors of various levels adhere to Aviation Departmental and contractual policies and procedures. You will review contracts for changes and deletions, and develop contract language to address or correct problems.
This position also requires driving skills and the ability to operate City vehicles, plus the ability to escort contractors to specific work sites. Additionally, at DIA we are team - especially when it comes to inclement weather or escalated / emergency situations. This position will have mandatory snow / emergency duties that can require overtime, additional shifts and/or working weekends and holidays.

Monitors contracts to ensure compliance, Airport Rules and Regulations; verifies that required reports and documentation are timely submitted by contractors and consultants; reviews and resolves differences in areas of non-compliance, addresses other concerns as necessary.
Performs on-site inspections (that may include extreme conditions both inside and outside e.g. confined spaces, low temperatures etc.) and/or reviews and analyzes reports and invoices generated by contractors and consultants to confirm compliance with Agreements and Airport Rules and Regulations, and re-inspects as necessary to ensure compliance.
Makes recommendation for standard operational policies and procedures for assigned contracts.
Reviews expenditures agreements for specific requirements and enters contract information into database for tracking. Maintains contract files through term of contract, generates status reports for management, and processes close-out documents at conclusion.
Monitors radios and maintains situational awareness.

Three years of clerical experience which includes one year of experience working with contracts. Basic MS Excel Skills. Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience working with Maintenence Contracts.
Crystal Report writing.
Education Requirement :
Graduation from high school or possession of GED
Education/Experience Equivalency :
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience except the one year of maintenance service contracts.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays to meet operational needs. Having work experience with quality control on numerous maintenance service contracts is a plus, along with ability to work collaboratively with customers, contractors, staff and vendors, and excellent report writing skills.
Required Licensure :
You must possess a valid Driver’s License at time of application.
You must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License before the end of probation (6 months from hire).

FBI Criminal Background Check required : an FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DIA). Employees are also required to report any felony conviction and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance / be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
Shift Work / Snow Duties / Emergency Incidents : this position does require shift work as DIA is a 24/7/365 operation (includes nights, weekends and holidays). Mandatory extended/additional shifts can be required. Additionally, this position is required to work mandatory snow duties which vary and can include nights, weekends and holidays.
Driver's License: must be kept current as a condition of employment.
