The SNEI Entertainment Experiences Development Group is charged with delivering next-generation network entertainment experiences - across all media types (video, TV, music, games, and books) and across all devices (TV, web, tablets, game consoles, Blu-ray players and smartphones). Although focused on client experiences, the team also develops key service application components to deliver these new experiences.

The Copywriter will collaborate with the team’s Producer to write and copyedit text that appears in the product and manual. The ideal candidate knows how to turn complicated product information into clear, concise and persuasive selling messages that are relevant to our customers. The Copywriter will analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate syntax, style and grammatical usage required for documents. He/she will ensure that all copy establishes and maintains a consistent house style.

  • Write clear, concise, setting the standard and style for the product.

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to copyedit all product descriptions before they are published.

  • Work with the Brand Manager to develop the product voice, then serve as the expert editor in that voice.

  • Create and update internal style books, guidelines, and glossaries.

  • 4+ years of professional writing experience.

  • Excellent writing and copyediting skills with applied experience in both areas.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and understanding of subtleties within the language.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to apply them to internal systems and processes.

  • Basic knowledge of console gaming.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and/or influencing internal processes.

  • Applied experience in electronic and online products.

  • Ability to balance creative and technical work.
