SUN SPLASH WATERPARK 2013 SEASON
Responsibilities include skilled emergency/safety work involved in
the prevention of injuries or deaths at assigned swimming areas, ability to interact well with the public and to exercise mature judgment and decision making, especially in emergency situations. Also responsible for cleaning and maintenance of facility. This position will also be responsible for collecting gate fees and balancing a cash drawer if assigned. Requires attendance at mandatory in-service training and meetings. Requires standing for long periods of time & working in the elements. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).
Individuals assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedule. Parks and Recreation staff must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attending or completion of High school/ GED required; Lifeguard Certification training provided at no cost, employment begins after successful completion of 32-hour training course; one year experience preferred.
