The Contract Management Representative will manage the processes associated with contract administration through the contract lifecycle, while being directly responsible for assigned spend. Supports an efficient contract management system that includes: effective cost, quality, delivery, and requirements management, accurate and timely management information, business development and proposal support, and effective compliance responsibility with appropriate risk. Develops and administers RFQs and RFPs based on customer specifications or the contract management schedule. Determines procurement actions to be taken based on process, policy and procedure. Takes initial procurement actions which may include the finalizing of specifications, the sourcing of vendors, scheduling RFIs with customers and selected vendors, the preparation of RFPs or RFQs, and submitting to the bid process. Takes lead role in the contract negotiation process, guiding internal business customers who may not have strong negotiation ability/experience. Strong emphasis on improving MVP s financial position on each contract. Analyzes significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate corporate policies and business unit procedure. Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. Ensures all non-personnel administrative contracts follow PCM s contract policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred: equivalent amount of education and related experience may be considered.
Three to five years of progressive experience in purchasing, contract management or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
