Contract Support Solutions, Inc. is seeking two (2) Contract Specialist I/Administrator to perform pre-award and post award contract duties in support of our Federal client located in Hadley, Massachusetts. The candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance: National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) with fingerprinting. If interested, please submit your resume in MSWord with salary requirement.A Bachelor†s Degree from an accredited college/university is desired. RequirementsThe contractor will assist in the performance of various contract stages and types including pre-award, awarded and post award contracts (Simplified Acquisitions, Services and Construction). Tasks will include Contract/Orders file maintenance and preparation. Training to accomplish knowledge of the Financial Business Management System (FBMS) and the contract writing module PRISM system will be provided when needed. Previous experience in this system is desired. The contractor will administer terms and conditions of existing contracts, preparation of contract modifications and assistance in documentation for negotiations of modifications. Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to reviewing invoicing and resolving any payment issues, prepare delivery order pricing, contract closeouts. QualificationsThe contractor must possess skills to prepare detailed reports, organize work efforts, and have good communication skills in written form and oral presentation. Some knowledge and exposure to different contract types or business functions is favorable. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) will be used for guidance and in decision making. Knowledge of and previous use of the FAR or its supplements is also favorable.The contractor must have prior experience in the use of computer based data systems; Fax Machines, Scanners, Copiers, printing devices, e-mail, word-processors, and other business machine systems will be utilized. These skills will be required. All equipment to be utilized will be provided by the government. Term of the ContractMay 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014, with two (2) twelve (12) month option periods.Hours of operation is Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. Personnel are expected to work from 30-40 hours per week during normal duty periodsPlace of PerformanceAll work will be performed at the client facility.
