Under direct supervision of the Executive Chef and/or the Food Service Director. Assists Executive Chef with supervision of production area. Prepares food for patients of all ages, cafeteria customers, meals on wheels, associates and special functions. Reads recipes and production sheets. Follows recipes by weighing and measuring ingredients. Labels, dates and stores food. Chops, slices and mixes food items. Cleans work area.
          • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
          • Minimum of two years cooking experience with quantities of 100 or greater or cooking school.
          • Hospital catering experience preferred. Hotel and restaurant also considered.
