To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with special university or community programs.
Department Marketing Statement
UTMB Health Center for Polar Medical Operations provides professional medical services related to diagnosis and treatment of United States Antarctic Program (USAP) participants. Coordinators in the Galveston Headquarters Office are responsible for processing confidential medical documentation and records in the Physical Qualification (PQ) Screening process for all participants deploying to Antarctica under the USAP. Coordinators also assist with business operations related to finances, procurement, etc.
Specific Job Related Duties
Coordinates activities of specified project or program in support of project aims, goals or objectives
Consults with committee or leadership to plan procedures
Gathers data for review and analysis of program design and outcomes
Assigns duties, trains and monitors progress of those assisting with project
Interprets program and services to individuals or groups in community
Adheres to internal controls established for department
Performs related duties as required
Bachelor's Degree in related field
