Associate's degree or equivalent; 3 years related experience.

Job Description:
To manage activities for a project or program.

Salary Range

From $38,400 To $55,200 Annually

This position is a BAND CODE: CS13

Specific Job Related Duties

Answers the phones and responds to correspondence, refers university and external personnel and patients to the appropriate source for information as necessary ensuring effective communications in a timely manner.
Assists in scheduling of meetings using Outlook calendar, the preparation of agendas, reserves room, send reminders.
Files patient and administrative documents.
Opens and reviews mail.
Transcribes and/or initiates draft and final form documents.
Uses appropriate form to request office supplies, reimbursement for dues and memberships, pagers and other items as needed.
Contacts appropriate departmental support staff in order to initiate travel request.
Completes leave request forms and advises KRONOS time keeper of Faculty absence or attendance on holidays.
Ensures faculty licensure is renewed in a timely manner.
Ensures faculty receive and sign medical records.
Assists with data entry as requested.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.

MS Office
Data Entry
Telephone Professionalism

Preferred Work Experience

Prefer medical or clinical background dealing with patients.
Previous secretarial experience.
Prefer UTMB experience.
