Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of student conduct, campus activities, housing, or related experience; or a Master's degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field. Experience with personal computers using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook). Consideration will be given to applicants who will have their Bachelor's degree conferred by June 1, 2013.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Counseling, or related field and two (2) years of experience in student conduct, conduct boards, or related functional areas.

This position's initial duties will include assisting with the implementation of an administrative student conduct program; serving as a resource on discipline and University conduct matters for students, faculty, staff, and the community; assisting with the development and interpretation of student and University policies and procedures; serving as a member of the Dean of Students Office Care Team; as well as other duties as outlined in your official Position Description.

Assists with the implementation of an administrative student conduct program. Coordinates, plans, and assists in the administration and evaluation of the University student conduct office. Serves as a resource on discipline and University conduct matters for students, faculty, staff, and the community. Serves as a formal or informal hearing officer as designated. Assists in the development and interpretation of student and University policies and procedures. Conducts extensive investigations of disciplinary referrals.



Responsible for the training of hearing board members. Develops publications and materials designed to promote student conduct standards. Conducts development programs and training sessions regarding rules of conduct and topics related to student discipline and academic integrity. Assists with the coordination of enrichment programs. Assists with the hiring, training, and supervision of support staff relating to this position and its respective functions. Oversees in the admission clearance process for conduct related cases. Serves as a member of the Dean of Students Office Care Team.



Facilitates provisions of support services and/or information from other departments/agencies outside the Office of Student Conduct.
