Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of experience in facilities and contract management in the areas of custodial services, waste and recycling, moving, and pest control services in large multi-purpose facilities within an institutional or educational setting. Experience to include but not limited to direct customer service, event support services, quality control inspections, and maintenance of established standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Experience with personal computers using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Outlook). Valid driver's license.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four (4) years of experience in facilities or contract management in the areas of custodial services, waste and recycling, moving, and pest control services in large multi-purpose facilities within a university or educational setting. Experience to include but not limited to direct customer service, event support services, quality control inspections, and maintenance of established standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Experience providing and supervising custodial, waste management, and logistical services to large public events such as graduations, conventions, and athletic events. Experience with Work Management software and interdepartmental billing for special services and events.

Order of Importance
Coordinates all activities related to contractual services within the areas of housekeeping, pest control, solid waste, recycling, moving, and others as assigned by the Director. Holds contractors accountable to provide work as specified in contracts.
Maintains an excellent working relationship with all outside vendors, suppliers, and the campus community.
Develops various requests for proposal and other such documents required to acquire outside services for the University.
Represents the division in a professional manner to public and University clients in all areas of special services and division management. Provides professional leadership, management, and supervision of the various programs connected with the division. Develops budgeting and expenditure controls of human and material resources. Serves on various University committees.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and ability to supervise contracted services; perform quality control inspections; and provide excellent customer service in person, via email, or phone. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility. Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and follow-through. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with the public. Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
