This is a great opportunity for the right creative professional to create and write award-winning copy for NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network, for brand and advertising campaigns related to NBC Sports and specifically core products including: NFL Sunday Night Football, the Olympics, NHL, Kentucky Derby, Premier League, Major League Soccer, Tour De France, F1, IndyCar Series, original series and studio shows as well as new show launches.

We are looking for a full-time Copywriter to join our team at the new NBC Sports Group facility in Stamford, CT.
The position will work closely with the Creative Director to create compelling copy, develop and concept new ideas and powerful creative marketing tools
Drive and elevate brand voice by producing cutting-edge copy across a range of media platforms, marketing campaigns and promotional spots (tv, print, digital, non-traditional)
Copywriting that takes projects from brief through to delivery
Craft multiple approaches for campaigns and individual spots as required
Provide both traditional and informational copy solutions in addition to unconventional concepts and scripts
Gather appropriate research to support the most timely and break-through executions of on-air creative
Ensure communications adhere to NBCSN brand positioning
Revise copy quickly as needed with quick turnaround
Effectively work on multiple projects and initiatives in an incredibly fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
The position will also create copy for other internal and external network materials including social media content, corporate presentations, sales tapes, advertiser promotions, affiliate communications materials, and cross-promotional materials, for NBCUniversal marketing efforts

Minimum 5 years copy writing experience in television, advertising, film, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Extensive experience producing high-quality copy and concepts for a wide range of marketing styles and campaigns
Experience handling many projects simultaneously and ability to react flexibly and immediately to changes that may occur
Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and creative skills
