JPMorgan is seeking a Senior Voice Network Engineer to support their Session Border Controller (SBC) environment. JPMC is continuing to migrate from a traditional telephony environment to SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and currently has deployed both Oracle Acme Packet and Cisco Cube SBC’s in their environment. Additionally JPMC is moving towards an IMS architecture (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and this position will be responsible to help design and implement this next generation architecture. Experience in SONUS, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Cube, GenBand, Oracle Acme Packet desired but not required.

Responsibilities:
This position requires direct interaction with the JPMC architecture, product engineering and operations teams. This position requires three years experience with and SBC platform and five years overall telecommunications experience. Experience with Acme and Cisco platforms are preferred but not required. The individual must have excellent verbal skills (both oral and written). This position requires, SIP, H.323, Telephony Routing Translations skill, Security Protocol knowledge (IPSEC, RADIUS), and an indepth knowledge of signaling protocol standards and usage.

Qualifications
BS/MS in Telecommunications/Computer Science or Foreign equivalent. Required non-technical skills include the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and vendor/partner organizations. The candidate must also be disciplined, organized and if appropriate, possess the ability to mentor and direct more junior engineers.
