Duties and

expertise in Windows Operating System and related software technologies (Citrix,
Clustering, Vmware) with at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Windows

and problem resolution of all global Production systems and services

and support of the day-to-day operations and availability of Thomson Reuters

servers in a multi-domain environment

(minimum 5+ years

At least 5+ years of hands-on engineering and support experience
with Windows NT4, Windows-2000
, Windows-2003 and Windows-2008 servers in
a medium to large scale production environment.

Experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining
server hardware

Experience with scripting (Power shell, VBscript, Perl)

Knowledge of implementing and supporting Windows

Knowledge of implementing and supporting production
Active Directory environments.

Working knowledge of RAID setups and troubleshooting
with an understanding of SAN and NAS technology.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing and

Hands-on experience setting up, installing and
configuring server components

Working knowledge of VMWare

Overall knowledge and understanding of Citrix Metaframe
and Xenapp farm environments

Overall knowledge and understanding of HP Blade Center

Overall knowledge and understanding of Backup software

Working knowledge of TCP/IP principles and LAN

Knowledge of network monitoring tools and SNMP

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Excellent customer service and communication skill set

Must be able to work independently, under minimum

Must be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work

Travel to other GEO centers required, as needed

Certifications; ITIL Certified; Experience with TPM, SPT, BigFix, IBM and HP
chassis, Citrix, VMWare and Egenera are a plus.
