One of the Top Ranked Law Firms is looking to hire a Controller for their Ft. Lauderdale, FL office.
Overseeing the accounting and financial reporting functions
Supervising all accounting duties including: general ledger reconciliations, month end close, financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, internal control compliance, and tax filings
Assisting the managing partners with cash management, credit compliance, insurance and other projects as needed
Train and supervise accounting team on established accounting policies and procedures
Active CPA license
6+ years of professional accounting experience including time spent with a law firm
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Excellent managerial and communication skills
Relocation assistance will be provided for out of town candidates.
