LEEANN CHIN is searching for an energetic, personable, and process driven individual to solicit and manage catering.
The Catering and Sales Specialist will be responsible for all catering sales from origination to execution. They will work closely with the Sales Manager and Delivery Drivers to generate new business and maintain contact and on-going business with current accounts.
The Catering and Sales Specialist sources and establishes new accounts, generates revenue, books repeat business while keeping quality consistently high. The ideal candidate is a goal oriented individual with catering sales knowledge and possesses a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
At least 2-3 years of previous sales experience preferably in restaurant operations
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences and memos
Ability to professionally present promotional materials to prospective guests
Ability to calculate figures and amounts for guest catering contracts
Possesses a strong passion and knowledge of restaurant and catering operations including food, beverage and guest interaction
Ability to sit, walk, stand and/or bend to perform essential job functions
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of Twin Cities/Metro Area geography required
Have strong communication and computer skills
Proven strong problem solving abilities
Compensation: Up to $50,000 (DOE) with bonus potential
