    SUMMARY

    The Corporate Wellness Coordinator provides overall program coordination for Business Health Services. Business Health Services include worksite injury prevention and treatment as well as health promotion and wellness. Assists in developing relationships with area businesses and our Emergency department for injuries, drug screens and physicals. Marketing and coordinating services that will assist businesses in meeting OSHA and MIOSHA requirements as well as developing worksite wellness programs such as wellness assessment, wellness coaching and flu clinics. Establishing relationships with our businesses with a focus on service excellence as well as service recovery.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Current licensure as an RN in the State of Michigan, preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, or health related field. Requires strong social skills that build trust and confidence with employees at each business. Must adapt well to change and different organizational cultures. Requires strong organization skills for program planning and scheduling of additional resources and staff. Strong interest in worksite health promotion. Growing Knowledge of positive health habits such as nutrition and physical activity. Interest in obtaining certification in Corporate Wellness, CPR/First Aid instructor as well as MIOSHA and OSHA. Ability to provide information to large numbers of people through public speaking engagements. Clinical experience/background required.
