Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills for a mid-level analyst position. In-depth cost estimating and risk analysis knowledge and hands-on MS Excel and Crystal Ball skills are required. Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of cost estimating and analysis, Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), and Business Case Analysis (BCA) experience supporting a Naval acquisition organization or equivalent Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition organization. Three semester hours of calculus and 21 semester hours of course work in operations research, economics, math, chemistry, physics, or other sciences where there is utilization of advanced math skills (e.g., geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and/or quantitative analysis) is required. In addition ICEAA, CCE/A or AACE CEP certifications or certifications in process is required. Comparable certifications will be considered.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Individuals will be co-located at the Washington Navy Yard performing a wide variety of cost and economic analyses, AoAs and/or BoAs for the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) organization. Work may include parametric cost estimating, hardware and software cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship (CER) development, cost model development, cost risk assessment & analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and project forecasting.
