This non-exempt position is responsible for accurately and effectively providing administrative support for the Child Support Enforcement legal department with moderate supervision while providing outstanding internal and external customer service.
Performs general clerical and receptionist duties for CSE legal department
Performs data entry and correspondence work for cases
Assists legal secretaries and/or program attorneys with the preparation of legal documents
Monitors and processes arrest and release court documents to the local Sheriff's office as assigned
Prepares Memorandums to the Clerk for pro se court days
Accesses Clerk's and state's computer systems to perform routine, daily assignments
Assists Supervisor, Deputy Director and Director with other related duties as assigned
Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Clerk for the operation of the office and continuation of service
High school diploma or GED
Must have one to three years of related experience*
Must be punctual; regular attendance is required
Must be computer literate which includes, but is not limited to, proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Word & Outlook
Must be able to operate general office equipment
Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and foster a positive work environment
- Advanced education and/or degree can be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
