DUTIES:

Credit - responsible for the credit and collection efforts of the Mexico and Latin America portfolio (as assigned) in accordance with business objectives and targets. The role of this position is responsible for achieving specified KPIs, execute the actions necessary to achieve the targets, monitor the progress and prepare monthly written reports in a format determined by the Credit Manager. Make recommendations for policies and procedures to ensure objectives, targets and goals are met for assigned areas. Prepare monthly account adjustment entries: small balance and bad debt write-off. Maintain a minimal unapplied cash balance each month through ensuring proper application of funds. Review delinquent accounts and ensure maximum efforts have been taken before requesting bad debt status. Review customer orders for credit authorization; facilitate payment progress with customer in an effort to maintain open sales channels. Communication - must identify the best and most effective way to communicate with customers (internal and external) to achieve objectives and targets. The credit team is critical to achieving the business' OWC targets and ad hoc reports may be necessary from time to time. Work closely with the sales team to mitigate risk and ensure there is excellent communication with sales and the customers through relationship building. Training, coaching and motivating. This position may have at least one direct report (Credit Analyst, Mexico). To achieve goals analyst(s) will need some level of coaching to ensure they have the right attitude and mindset coupled with the proper KPI to monitor progress and measure results. Participate and contribute in Health & Safety, Security and Environmental activities (SAFE Meetings, BBS Observer, HS&E Training, Housekeeping, 5S, Recycling, etc.)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Finance and 5 years of credit experience. Up to 30% travel.
