Experienced Credit Officer with expertise in evaluating the risks of US residential mortgage originators, bankers and brokers. The role involves working partnering with Relationship Bankers, Client Management, Product Teams and other credit officers to assess the medium and long term risks of potential and existing credit exposure. The credit officer will ensure that credit exposure remain within desired credit appetites, identifying developing risks in existing exposures, assisting in the structuring of credit exposures and making recommendations to the ultimate approvers. §

Experienced Credit Officer with expertise in evaluating mortgage loan originators, mortgage bankers and mortgage brokers. The individual should also have experience evaluating Financial Institutions Counterparty Credit Risk. §

Perform financial analysis including forecast models, scenario analysis and stress testing for a variety of companies and transactions. §

Research, monitor and analyze the ongoing performance of existing clients, transactions and supported sectors. §

Run due diligence and customer meetings, direct document negotiations, and guide business decisions within approved polices and procedures. §

Assist with the analysis of proposed transactions and annual reassessments and make recommendations to credit approvers. §

Prepare reports, portfolio analysis and maintain data integrity. §

Calculate and recommend risk ratings for credit counterparties. §

Manage multiple tasks and projects across numerous companies and sectors. §

BA or BS degree with focus on business, finance or economics and/or relevant work experience in a risk function. §

At least 5-years of experience in the area of credit risk with a focus on structured products. §

Working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling. §

Ability to understand and identify key areas of risk on complex and structured credit transactions. §

Strong analytical and portfolio management skills. §

Strong written and oral presentation skills.
