Overview

Responsible for all day-to-day activities of crew scheduling including crew accommodations; ensuring the proper staffing of flights within FAR limitations and Flight attendant CBA agreements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily scheduling of flight attendants ensuring all flights are appropriately staffed and crew accommodation needs are met, including hotels and transporation.

Assign all open trips in accordance with flight attendant collective bargaining agreement, FARs, and established company policies and procedures.

Monitor crew legalities, communicate changes and reassign flight attendants as needed.

Responsible for safeguarding/planning for adequate reserve coverage (e.g. through trip trade approvals, rebuilding/combining pairings, reserve days off management etc.)

Assist flight attendants and Inflight supervisors with scheduling issues.

Reliability - all flights are properly staffed and schedules are accomplished with adherence to FARs, collective bargaining agreement and company policies and procedures.

Employee Satisfaction - flight attendants provided efficient service and answers to questions/concerns during their work assignments.

Cost - schedules are executed and managed to provide schedule coverage at the most efficient cost levels. Maintain cost control by canceling unused crew hotel accommodations and transportation.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

Computer skills and verbal communication skills required.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years operational background.

Other

Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
