The Crisis & Continuity Advisor: Planner is responsible for the following essential job functions:
· Develops a statewide burn management plan
· Develops and implements burn triage protocols, as well as the use of telemedicine consultations when available, to support a burn mass casualty incident in the State of Indiana
· Serves as a Duty Officer in the Marion County Medical Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MedMACC), providing support to the healthcare and public safety communities during mass-casualty and disaster events
*This is a grant-funded position for one year, with the potential for renewal based on funding availability.*

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Clinical healthcare experience and licensure preferred (e.g., EMT-P, RN, MD)
  • Public health education preferred (e.g., MPH, MSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health, clinical health care or emergency management-related field preferred
  • Completion of the following Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) courses is preferred: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-400, ICS-700, and ICS-800
