Play an important part in patient care management of ER patients. Responsibilities include medication evaluation, consultation, developing guidelines, and educating other healthcare providers, as well as improving med management. The ED is on CPOE & automated dispensing systems. The ED pharmacist will have the ability to use clinical knowledge to improve ER outcomes.
